FREE SHIPPING TERMS

Free standard shipping only applies to Australian orders above $120. If your order is under $120, please choose the right shipping method for your order to be processed. If you’ve chosen “Free AU Shipping” when your order is under $120, your order will be put on hold and a member of the Alisa Parveen team will be in touch with you to discuss delivery methods.

LOCAL PICK UP

Local pick up is available from Winton Retreat, Cranbourne East after you have received pick up confirmation from a member of our team. Please contact us at info@alisaparveen.com to confirm your order pick up date and time.

Pick up is not available immediately when you place an order.

Once you have put your order through, please allow 2-3 business days for your order to be made and/or processed. If you require fresh henna urgently, please contact us at info@alisaparveen.com or give us a call at 0469783966.

 

EXPRESS SHIPPING TERMS

All orders are shipped via Australia Post – Express, from a starting price of $13 onwards depending on the weight of the parcel.

Please note that we only ship on Mondays & Tuesdays – so if you had placed an order on Thursday for Express Shipping – It will still only be shipped the following Monday via Express Post. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@alisaparveen.com

PROCESSING TIME

Orders close at 6pm, Melbourne Time every Friday and gets shipped out between 8am and 2pm on Mondays & Tuesdays. Please make sure we have receive payment for your order before 6pm on Friday evening so your order gets processed. Otherwise your order will only be processed the following week.

We only ship orders early in the week to make sure fresh henna paste does not get stuck in any post offices over the weekend and you receive it on time.

EXCHANGE & RETURNS

Sorry we don’t offer any exchanges on products returned.

The following items cannot be returned and are non-refundable:

  • Fresh Henna and Jagua Paste & Cones
  • Jagua Gel & Juice
  • Perishable Products
  • Sale Products. All sales are final.
  • Individual products purchased as part of a kit or bundle (the entire kit or bundle must be returned)
CANCELLATIONS

All orders can be cancelled if they are not packed or shipped. Contact us ASAP.

If your order had already been packed, there is a $5 fee to discard packaging material and restocking.

If your order had already been packed and shipped, unfortunately it can’t be cancelled or returned if Perishable.

If your order had already been packed and awaiting pick up for more than 48hours, unfortunately it can’t be cancelled or returned if Perishable.

DAMAGED ITEMS

We require photos of all damages when starting a claim. When your order arrives, please inspect the package immediately for any damages that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping package to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the items in your shipment let us know immediately.

You can only make a claim of damages within 3 business days of delivery of your package. No exceptions nor extensions. Please make sure to include your order number and photos of the damages. We’ll be happy to assist you.

All uninsured packages are not liable for replacement nor can claims be processed on such parcels. Damaged parcels are the mishandling of Australia Post and uninsured packages have to be handled by the client and their local postal office. Please contact your postal man directly at your local post office for assistance.

Alisa Parveen is not held responsible for damaged parcels that are uninsured by the client. We strongly recommend insuring or adding signature on all your packages.

LOST OR MISSING ITEMS

Occasionally orders get lost in transit and we want to ensure you locate your order as soon as possible.

Please follow these steps to trace your lost/missing order:

  • Check your delivery confirmation or tracking number. Contact us at info@alisaparveen.com if you don’t already have this information. Please check your junk/spam folder if you do not see it. Please go to auspost.com.au and track your order.
  • Make sure you have given us the correct address and a valid email address.
  • Did your mail carrier drop off a note for collection at the post office or another location when you aren’t home?
  • Contact your Postmaster at your local post office to get further assistance and report possible thefts.

Time limitation.  Please note you have a responsibility to notify us within 7 business days from date your order shipped concerning any order not received to you. Notifying us after 7 business days will void your claim. You are responsible to follow up with all communications within 24-48 hours after we reply to you with any updates.

Failure to follow up with us within that time frame will void any requests for replacements or refunds. No exceptions. No extensions.

PERISHABLE ITEMS

Perishable products such as henna cones, paste, jagua paste, gel, cones, hair masks and any product that requires to be kept frozen upon receipt/delivery that comes back returned to us for any reason whatsoever, will not be replaced nor refunded.

No exceptions. Please understand that if these products come back to us, when the return is not an error on our end, we absolutely cannot send a replacement nor will we refund those products as they are a loss for us as well as for the customer. Take extra diligence and care if you are ordering perishable products from us.
Orders with perishable products must be monitored via tracking number so that you, our client, will know exactly when the order is being delivered or if there are any deliver issues or delays. This is not the responsibility of Alisa Parveen. No replacements nor refunds will be issued.

Australia Posts ships from Monday to Friday. Alisa Parveen is not responsible for any delays in delivery by Australia Post. Please read the terms and conditions set out by Australia Post for more information.

ORDER ERRORS

Should you receive your order incomplete or with any order errors (or undelivered) please contact us immediately at info@alisaparveen.com. Please be sure to have your order number ready.

CAN YOU TRAVEL TO OUR HOME FOR HENNA?

Yes, we do travel for henna appointments. There is a minimum 2 hour booking @ $150/hr + travel fees. Please contact us at info@alisaparveen.com to receive a custom quote.

PERISHABLE ITEMS

All fresh henna paste, cones and jagua products are perishable items. Please note that these products need to be kept frozen.

 

WHITE HENNA

White henna is not made of the natural henna plant. Lawsonia Inermis only produces a red stain.

Our white henna is a waterproof body art adhesive. It has the name “white henna” to it because it is drawn like henna designs. They sit on the top of your skin and do not stain your skin.

DO THE HENNA HAIR COLOURS HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Our herbal hair colors have no known side effects. Our colors are mixtures of 100% organic and natural botanicals. Chamomile works as an anti-irritant agent.

Our products are 100% free from chemical ingredients such as chemically synthesized Pigment Precursors (P-Phenyldiamine (PPD) as which causes irritation and hair damage, Synthetic Thickener or Texturizer, Synthetic conditioners, Ammonia or Amine as alkalizing agent, Hydrogen peroxide as oxidising agent which destroys melanin particles and lighten hair color and thioglycol acid or Urea as hair cuticle softener which damages hair roots, texture and strength.

SHOULD I DO A PATCH TEST BEFORE APPLICATION

Our henna hair colors are 100% organic, chemical-free, and safe to use. However, some people are allergic to certain plant parts, so it is always recommended to do a patch test before application. Please refer to the patch test directions on the pack.

IS A STRAND TEST NECESSARY?

Yes, it helps to establish the time duration and the color result.

Everyone has different types/textures/structures of hair, it will lead to a little variation in the shades of color on an individual’s hair. It is recommended to wait 24-48 hours after applying the henna hair colour, to better predict the coloring result.

Please note that the color may darken during this period. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can choose a shorter/longer exposure time.

HOW LONG DOES THE DYE STAY ON THE HAIR?

Hair color lasts for 15 to 20 washes. Avoid shampoo and styling products for the next 48 hours; thereafter, use mild organic shampoo.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF THE HENNA HAIR COLOURS?

Our henna hair colors has a shelf life of three years. In order to preserve the freshness of this product:

  • Avoid exposure to heat. The powder will remain fresh if stored at room temperature or below.
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Squeeze all of the air out of the bag before sealing.
  • Seal the bag tightly after each use.
  • Store the powder in a dry place, and avoid any contact with moisture.
CAN I COVER MY GREY HAIR?

Yes, Herbal Hair color comes with 100% grey hair coverage. However, grey hair is sometimes difficult to cover, and you may need 4 to 5 applications to cover the grey completely.

Please note that grey hair can turn green or blue when applying herbal hair color containing a high percentage of Indigo. However, to be on the safe side, perform a strand test first.

DOES THE HENNA HAIR COLOURS HAVE AMMONIA,PHD, PEROXIDES OR SUCH CHEMICALS?

No, it does not contain any harmful chemicals, artificial, synthetic, or toxins. It is 100% organic and natural.

CAN THE HENNA HAIR COLOURS BE USED ON CHEMICALLY TREATED HAIR?

Yes, the henna hair colours can be used on chemically treated hair. However, in certain cases, the effects may start only after 5-6 applications, as the damaged hair cuticle needs time to repair.

WILL THE HENNA COLOUR WORK ON MY BLACK HAIR?

Asian hairs are generally brown and black in color, so brown, dark brown, chestnut, deep chestnut, walnut, black, Caramel, Mahogany, Burgundy, Heena and Indigo can suit them better. But the effectiveness of the color will depend upon the type and color of one’s own hair. For this purpose we have given the best suitable hair color for different types of hair color on our website as well as on users guide.

MY NATURAL HAIR IS DARK, CAN I MAKE USE THE LIGHTER HAIR COLOURS?

Unfortunately not. It is not possible to lighten hair with henna hair colors, as they do not contain any bleaching agent.
